How do I check the balance on a gift card?

To check the balance on a customer’s gift card, follow these steps:

For plastic gift cards:

1. Open the Gift Cards app on your Clover device
2. Select the Check Card Balance button
3. Select Swipe Card the gift card or enter the gift card number
4. A receipt with the current balance will print

For digital gift cards: (if applicable)

1. Open the Gift Cards app on your Clover device
2. Select the Check Card Balance button
3. Select the Scan Card Barcode button or manually enter the gift card number
4. Scan the gift card barcode from your customer’s phone
5. A receipt with the current balance will print
